Moira Voices Terms of Use

Moira Voices is a reflective notification app. It sends short prompts, reminders, and "signs" designed to create a moment of attention, motivation, self-reflection, or creative pressure.

Moira Voices may use fictional sender names or personas such as "god," "the universe," "death," "your sign," "future you," or similar voices. These personas are part of the app's creative experience. They are not claims that a message is literally sent by God, the universe, death, a supernatural force, a deceased person, or any other external entity.

Moira Voices messages are fictional, editorial, and reflective prompts selected or generated for the app experience.

Moira Voices does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, religious, spiritual, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Moira Voices is not a mental health service, crisis service, therapy tool, diagnostic tool, treatment plan, or substitute for a qualified professional.

Do not use Moira Voices as the only basis for important decisions about your health, safety, relationships, work, finances, religion, or personal life. If you need professional help, contact a qualified professional. If you may be in danger or experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis support service immediately.

Some Moira Voices messages may be direct, intense, existential, motivational, or uncomfortable. They may mention time, mortality, fear, avoidance, regret, pressure, or similar themes.

You are responsible for deciding whether Moira Voices is appropriate for you. If Moira Voices messages feel distressing, harmful, obsessive, or unsuitable, you should lower the intensity where controls are available, pause notifications, turn off notifications in iOS Settings, stop using Moira Voices, or delete the app.

Moira Voices uses local and, where available, remote push notifications to deliver signs and reminders. Notifications require your permission through iOS.

You can disable Moira Voices notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Moira Voices may also provide in-app controls for frequency, tone, pause state, or related notification settings.

Push notifications are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time. Delivery may depend on iOS settings, device state, network conditions, Apple Push Notification service, backend availability, subscription state, and other factors outside our control.

Moira Voices notifications should not be used for emergencies, time-critical safety needs, medical reminders, or any situation where missed or delayed delivery could cause harm.

Moira Voices may let you create your own notifications by entering custom text, sender names, times, and repeat settings.

You are responsible for any custom notification content you create. You agree not to create content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.

Do not use custom sender names or messages to impersonate another person or organization in a misleading or harmful way.

Moira Voices may offer paid features through subscriptions, free trials, promotional offers, or lifetime purchases.

Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. If you start a free trial for an auto-renewable subscription, Apple may charge you when the trial ends unless you cancel before the renewal deadline shown by Apple.

Subscription prices, renewal periods, trial availability, taxes, and cancellation rules are shown by Apple at the time of purchase and may vary by country or region.

You can manage, cancel, or restore App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. We do not receive or store your credit card number.

Access to paid features may require an active entitlement from Apple. If a purchase cannot be verified, paid access may not be available until verification succeeds.

We may change, add, remove, pause, or update Moira Voices content, messages, features, pricing, offers, and availability over time.

We may also modify or discontinue parts of the app where needed for product, legal, safety, technical, or business reasons.

Your use of Moira Voices is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how Moira Voices handles information such as notification settings, device registration data, analytics, custom notifications, saved signs, life calendar setup data, subscriptions, and related app activity.

You agree not to misuse Moira Voices or attempt to interfere with the app, backend services, analytics, purchases, notifications, or security features.

You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, resell, modify, scrape, or redistribute Moira Voices or its content except where allowed by applicable law.

Moira Voices may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Apple Push Notification service, StoreKit, Supabase, PostHog, and related infrastructure providers.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Moira Voices is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Moira Voices will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, suitable for your personal situation, or available at all times.

We do not guarantee that any message, notification, sign, prompt, or feature will produce a particular emotional, spiritual, motivational, creative, or practical result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moira Voices and its provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, emotional wellbeing, business, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Moira Voices.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.

Moira Voices is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use Moira Voices.

If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, you should use Moira Voices only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We may update these Terms as Moira Voices changes. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of Moira Voices after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
